Note the following:

Once youโ€™ve ensured that youโ€™re logged into the same iCloud account on all of your devices, your projects should sync between them ๐ŸŽ‰

๐Ÿง What does iCloud Sync do?

iCloud is a sync solution, meaning that it keeps all your data in-sync across every device you're signed into with your Apple ID.

๐Ÿ“NB: If you delete projects from your iPhone, you will unfortunately also be deleting them from iCloud ๐Ÿ˜ญ

We, therefore, don't recommend iCloud as a way to back up your projects safely.

Instead, we recommend using our 'Folders' feature. Once you save your projects to a folder, they'll be backed up and available on your Over account. So, no matter which device you use to log in to Over on, your projects will be there!

๐Ÿ“‚ To save your project to a Folder:

  1. From the project export screen, tap โ€˜add to folderโ€™ and choose an existing or new folder.
  2. OR in the Over app, tap 'Projects' on the bottom right. Long press on a project from your feed & tap 'Add to Folder'. They should then appear in your 'Folders' tab, which can also be found under 'Projects'. Voila! Safe and Sound ๐Ÿ™Œ
